I know, I know, there are no comments in this blog. Nor email address. From the very beginning of doing this blog, it was very private--mostly a way for me to document my garden. Being a very new gardener, every learning experience was so precious. I am also not a very public person to boot.
I think it is great that blogging has become a way to connect, but I have never used blogs that way. I have been making websites since 1998, and my first website was a literary journal that I used to hand-code every time I posted. Along came Blogger and everything changed, but for a few years you couldn't leave comments on even Blogger. It's more a matter of habit that none of the blogs or websites I do have comments, and because I now manage and publish 6 different websites (some personal, some organizational), I rarely have time to read comments or emails. It's more out of not wanting to offend by not responding that I don't make room for comments! I'll keep thinking about whether or not to add them but in the meantime, enjoy!
